IDK what is going on, and the doctor cant get me in until late aug. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
My nurse at d has said if it gets worse to just go to the er, but im hoping to not have to do that lol
for a while now, off and on, my arm has become slightly swollen. Not a big deal, because it wasnt really effecting anything.
THis week, however, it has swollen much bigger, it is physically uncomfortable and has began hurting. i can barely close my hand or bend my arm. The other day, d was so unbearable i had to come off early.
there isnt any unusual bruising, just a tiny bit near where they poke me, nothing abnormal there. just swollen from shoulder to fingertips.
anyone?

As much as the ER is horrible, fistula complications are worse. Deep vein thrombosis, clots deep down, can cause pain and swelling and are very serious. I personally wouldn't wait for this to be checked properly with some kind of imaging to see what's happening inside the arm. Inconvenient yes, but some inconveniences are bigger than others. Good luck Jen.

It can be that the person who's putting in your needles is going too deep. This what can make your arm swollen. I would see the doctor and tell whoever doing your needles do not sick you too deep.
