Title: Body Vibrations
Post by: Wat76 on July 26, 2012, 01:06:20 PM
Hello Again,

Does anyone feel like their body is vibrating after D.  I went to a morning session this morning at a new clinic and i have not felt right sense.  When I try to chew, it feels like my jaws and face vibrates.  My legs and arms feel funny, tingling.

Anyone, my hands hurt also, and I feel completely washed out.  Is there anything you can do for the above, should i drink more water or wait for a while after D to eat.  Something funny is happening to me.  I know somewhere in these threads long ago someone has told how they feel.  Newbies starting D lately, do you feel any of these things.  Right now I am at work and feel like crap, thank God, no one works here besides me and I can rest.  I have to drive an hour home, hope I am up to it.  This crap is hard and I am just getting started.

Thanks for listening.

I'm not a dialysis newbie, but I've had the hand pain before. Actually it's more of an all over pain, but it can be fairly intense. Not sure what the cause is. I usually take a couple tylenol when I feel it start up (about midway through my treatment). As for the shaking... perhaps you are suffering from an eletrolyte imbalance? They made need to re-evaluate your dialysate bath. Be sure to ask your doctor about this, because that should not be happening. I ended up having really bad seizures in my first month of dialysis because of this. Call your neph, for sure!

I'm not new to dialysis, I have been on it for many years. but you should definitely tell you doctor & nurse as how you are feeling.
I know I have had issues in the past where they removed to much fluid & made me feel that way & I have also had it where they had me on a special bath & it removed to much calcium which makes you feel really crappy  & that makes your tongue & face very tingly/pins & needles. So definitely tell you doctor :)

Good Luck & God Bless !
