Don't get the dressing wet. When you need to bathe, cover it with Glad Press n Seal, use a hand held shower head and aim it strategically. Other than that, just don't fuss with it.

I got this neck catherter on Friday afternoon. Then on Saturday(my dialysis day),was the first day that it has been in use. There was a different head(team leader)nurse that was SURPRISE to see me with a neck catherter on the right side of my neck.2morrow I'm going to ask the staff at dialysis for some helpful advice on how to take good care of this.Since I'll be having this for several months.I've dialysis on Tuesday,Thursday & Saturday early in the morning.I figure it's a "BLESSING" in disguise.Cause I won't have to put up with any bloody messes on my right arm(fistula) for a while.Plus hear the techs complain about having problems inserting the needles.
