Its been 2 months now at the new d center. Everything is going great there. staff is awsome my neph is awsome too. See him Monday. Tuesday they are going to start working on my phobia not sure how that is going to work out. June 9th I passed out in my kitchen come to I was half under my dining table wondering what I was doing there got up took my blood pressure it was 133 over something . They think my blood pressure took a nose dive that morning it was pretty weird.

I'm glad your new center and neph are working out well for you. how do they plan to work on your needle phobia? Sounds complicated, but hopefully they've had success in the past with others who have the same problem. Let us know how this progresses. Waking up on the floor sounds scary - I hope you were not injured when you fell.

I had a few of those low blood pressure falls. Hate those. Each time I bent my glasses badly. Try to remember how you felt right before so you can learn when to sit down.
I'm glad your new center is working out. Good luck with the phobia thing. It will probably take months but it will be worth it.

Sorry about the low BP crash. I hate those. I'm glad you like your new dialysis center.

Generally, the cure for phobias involves exposing you to what you are phobic about in small, gradually built-up increments. As - look at the picture of the needle, turning it over when you can't stand it anymore. Then the real needle, still capped. Look at it every day for longer periods of time. Work up to holding it. Uncap it, etc. It takes a while, but it will be worth in the end.
I always woke up from passing out at home with a cat standing on me, wondering why I was napping in the middle of the floor.
Glad the new center is better!

Great news. And best wishes on your journey toward ending that needle phobia. As Jbeany says, it will be well worth it.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, even tiny steps. :2thumbsup;
Keep sending us good updates!

so happy for your good part of your news and wishing you all the best on your dephobing... I worked real hard on it as well, took a while, but im ok with the D needles now. Still cant face the skinny little other ones, but i dont need to do them as hubby does those himself. I wish you healing in this, i truly do. I always say 'down the shoot' and put my mind on that rather than the other things i used to think of.

Happy for you that the new center works for you. Hope they will be able to get you over your fears. I have a terrible fear of heights, so I understand how you feel about it. Best wishes.
