Does anybody pay for their Epogen out of pocket?
Do you know how much it costs?
-
I did not pay for mine. I understand it costs about $2000 per dose. I did not type too many zeros.
-
The last insurance bill I saw showed it at aroound $6500/vial. Not cheap!
-
2900 for aranesp. thank god it is not out of pocket.
-
Wow! Just about everyone is on that stuff so those guys must be rolling in cash.
-
When I was on Procrit before I was on dialysis, 40,000 units cost me and my insurance around $580 - I paid 20%. This was a few years ago, and the cost kept going up, so I figure it's even higher now.
-
the last insurance bill i got showed that is was $6500 vial. i however maxed out on my out of pocket expenses for my insurance back in feb so i dont out of pocket for it.
-
I paid 109 and some change out of pocket for every shot of aranesp i got.
-
Any idea on why it is so expensive, besides drug company ripping us off?
Is it expensive in other countries?
-
.
-
It's articles like this that just raise my hackles :rant;
-
6,500 a vial dosent suprise me considering they charge 50 bucks just for a syringe.
-
One of the reasons for me asking is that I have several unused vials that I don't need. I don't need to take it anymore and hate to just throw it away.
I know I can't legally sell it, but does anyone have any ideas what I can do with it?
-
i was told to return it to the center
-
But couldn't the center just sell them again?
