Post by: SteveK87 on May 12, 2012, 03:33:59 PM
Just wondering if this is ok or if it has some weird ingredient that isn't safe.

I am not sure completely, but I have my guy stay away from them. I'm skeptical!

Another drink to go with (if you want the sweetness) is Sprite or 7up.

A pretty small quantity I would have thought since you only use a few drops at the time.

I use the MIO product from time to time, two drops in 8 oz. of water.  My potassium is always normal.  Such a tiny amount of potassium additive won't harm you.

Acesulfame potassium is an artificial sweetener. It's so sweet that if there were enough to worry about the potassium, it would be too sweet to drink (unless you have no fluid restriction and you're drinking quarts of flavored water a day).
