Anyone else having issues with Fresenius?? Since I've moved to Indianapolis, they've messed up my orders over 4 times. Also my last delivery had 4 boxes leaking and it was all over the closet I store them in! This time they sent me the wrong drain set... I can't reach my bathroom, and they didn't send any drain connectors in order for me to do so!!!! :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;
I have to suffer the dreaded manuals tonight and all this weekend because THEY SCREWED UP!! My parents are coming this weekend and they have all sorts of things planned because they are moving to NC in a few weeks :( Luckily, my D center offered to give me a box of drain sets on Monday. :cheer:
I just hate the fact that I've been doing this for over a year, I have the same "team" members and they've had the same orders every other week for the year...and now what has changed? Sigh...

i dont think baxter has ever messed up and order, they forgot to send me cassetes once, but called them and i got them overnighted, and one time the delivery driver tried to give me someonelses boxes, but i caught it

Yep. I hate Fresenius, too; they are constantly screwing up my orders.
Seems like their favorite thing to do is change suppliers - and thus item numbers - on THEIR end, then act like it's a big fat secret and not tell anyone including the clinics. Then when you use the item number you've always used to order something - like cannulas - they refuse to send it because you don't have a prescription for it. Really? Suddenly I don't need needles to cannulate with? Apparently they've never heard of cross-referencing the new numbers to the old.
Idiots.

If you have a complaint and they (Fresenius staff) are not implementing correct orders, etc you can file a complaint with the state..

I really don't know if this is possible or helpful to you...
We do our home D through Wellbound of Lafayette. (About an hour from Indy). Wellbound uses Baxter and we never, not once had an issue with Baxter. For Hemo users, they use NxStage.
If it's a possibility for you, I would, 100%, without hesitation, beyond a shadow of a doubt tell you that Wellbound is worth the drive. :)

Thanks for everyone's comments and help. I talked with a Fresenius representative and filed a complaint with the state as well. I hope things get better, if not, I am seriously thinking about changing... it's not that I don't like my cycler, (since I am on D, I'm happy with the results thus far), but it's the overall issue with the warehouse in general that seems to be the issue. I told the state that, and they are looking into it. If this happens again, I have half a mind to go into the warehouse myself and get my supplies! :boxing; :)

Glad you filed complaint with the state - I have found that the ESRD RENAL NETWORKS are usually NOT as effective as the state --- they do not have the same authority as the state does - meaning - the state can specifically cite deficiencies - The state should contact you prior to the investigation to ensure they have enough information, unless you gave your complaint directlly to the surveyor (investigator) who will be checking further. Usually when you call the state, there is an 'intake person'.. You should also get the results and you can request a 'copy of the STATEMENT OF DEFICIENCY - F2567 - This shows exactly what was cited (identified as incorrect practices)
If you know other patients who have had the same problem they, too, should contact the state, or you can give the state their names (might want to ask them first)
Let us know what happens -
