Army Wives, Sunday nights at 9 PM on the Lifetime Channel. One of the main stars ( Claudia Joy) has sudden kidney failure. The very next day she is receiving dialysis in her left arm, and it leaves bruises!! Also, her college age daughter is allowed to stay in the room while they set her up for dialysis. It would be so nice if only they showed the "real" truth, altho this one is certainly closer than Desperate Housewives was.

Oh man spoiler alert!! I haven't seen the new one yet but am so excited!! I fell in love with this show on Netflix...I didn't have cable so I watched all the past seasons! All the men on the show are so handsome...I was really sad when frank and Denise's son was KIA. Seems like the group is a little disconnected this season and I don't like how they are making Roxy into a stepford wife....

Agreed rsudock, Trevor, Roxy's husband should be one of the greatest stars in the world some day. Dont understand why he is not already.

i cannot watch shows, that have a kidney failure idea.... like ur so sick ur in a hospital bed unconscious, ur parent is an automatic match... u spend less than 2 days in the hospital receiving a transplant...lets see... like this one, u instantly havea working fistula... dialysis is painless, and so simple... i want to see one shhow where they have a realistic view of dialysis and kidney failure and what it entails... this is why society doesnt take our condition seriously... this is where pppl get their ignorant ideas, oh just aggravates me sooo :rant;

NO!!!! Claudia Joy is in drug rehab???? OMG, how can that be, the woman wouldnt say shit if she had a mouth full!!!

She slurred her way through an occasionally incomprehensible speech before being escorted off the stage, but it’s the stuff that people could understand that got her in trouble:

I have a cousin named Claudia Joy but goes by Joy.  What an unlikely name to see here.
