I have read few articles about stem cell transplant and find them fascinating. It's suppose to rejuvenate body tissues and organs (like diseased kidney). Numerous transplants have been made in Germany, France and China. They claim that it helped the patients improved their blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and many more. Unfortunately, stem cell transplant was banned in the US and so researches have been very slow. Let's hope that someday, the legality of stem cell transplant gets approved.

sign me up as a guinea pig  :yahoo;

Even though I am enjoying life post transplant, the anti rejection meds (side effects) aren't fun, but they can vary from person to person.  A big bonus from not taking anti rejection meds is not having to worry about infection. :beer1;
