I have been doing Nx Stage for the past two years 6 days a week, my life is very stressful and I find myself struggling to get all 6 treatments in these days, my Dr suggested i change to this 2008 system at home because it can be done 3 days a week vs 6 days, the thought of that is great, but heard the system is more complex and I always feel so bad with 3 days a week feel drained even more than usual. any thoughts or any insight on this machine.

I know there are at least three of us here who use the 2008K; I'm one of them. I can't really take the time today to go into a detailed analysis of it (I don't usually get online at all on the weekends) but if you search through my posts you'll find lots and lots of personal experience with it. Just search on 'Baby K'.
I would say, though, to ask him for 'extended' dialysis. My prescription is for 8 hours per treatment but I set the machine for 10 hours and often end up going to 12 hours. I wouldn't see the point in doing it at home if I were only going to get the same amount as in-center. I have no dietary restrictions and excellent fluid control.
The only thing - in my opinion - more 'complicated' than the NXstage is that there is an RO system that goes with the machine that also needs maintenance, but it's monthly, not daily. We were trained on everything and up and running in five weeks.
