Oh wow, Neo, I hope it straightens out soon. My hubby's PTH got to over 1000 then the next month it drop to 700. We will see if it has fallen any more in a couple weeks. They are trying to push Sensipar but J refuses to pay the co-pay. But it looks as though it is going down with Calcitrol. We will see!
Hope yours get straightened out!
God Bless,

Has your doctor tried you on calcitriol? I know whenever I take it my calcium shoots into the stratosphere and I have to back off it.

They left you with one parathyroid, right?
Have they checked your Vitamin D? I found this:
Secondary hyperparathyroidism is usually due to kidney failure. In people with kidney disease and/or failure, phosphorus may not be excreted efficiently, disrupting its balance with calcium. Kidney disease may also make those affected unable to produce the active form of vitamin D, and this in turn means that they are unable to absorb calcium properly from the diet. As phosphorus levels build up and calcium levels fall, PTH is secreted.

I hope they get you straightened out Neo! :cuddle;
