If anyone out there is trying to avoid dialysis by following Dr. Walzer's book I would like to help you. I have a lot of amino acids from Calwood Nutritonals that cost me a pretty penny. Besides eating under 20 grams of protein per day on the Walzer protocol, you should supplement with 10 grams of amino acids. I was able to avoid dialysis for 4 years using this method. One should realize however, that your muscles vanish and your energy level isn't high. I would love to send these amino acids to you as a good deed. It is about a thousand dollars worth. By the way, they come in flavors, but they don't taste too good, and they have sodium in them. You can research them by looking at Calwood Nutritionals website. :waving; By the way, I am now on dialysis, so these amino acids are useless to me. I'm using the 40/30/30 diet plan with binders and following the renal diet requirements these days.
