I hate Mondays!  I'm on a M,W,F schedule, and it seems that on  Mondays I always feel like crap. :puke;

Thats odd. I feel almost normal Monday morning after the weekend off from treatment. I start feeling bad after treatments start again.

Easy answer, Whamo.  By Monady, you've gone two days without dialysis--plenty of time for toxins a nd fluid to build up.

Yep. same for me.. Mondays are bad, but that's because of the 2 day break.  I'm usually not too bad, though.. as long as I don't overdo things on the weekend.  I thought I've overdone things this weekend, with a Christmas party on Saturday, and my grandparent's house on Sunday, but I was only up 3kgs.  That's my limit. *L*

Although, I think I may be one of those lucky few who leave dialysis tired, but feeling fine

oh i was miserable on hemo, it ddint matter if they took nothing or a whole lot... i hated it.... i had migraines after, wouldnt waqnt to eat when i left. i lost almost 30lbs in the last few months bc i would never eat.. my nurse told me i was wasting away, and asked do i eat.. yeah on the days i dnt go to dialysis.... i would eat before i went though, not much usually ,but i would try to force something, otherwise i would be crashing the whole session... my husband calls it the get sick diet...

See some people fare better than others between D sessions- and I think a lot of that has to do with fluid, diet and build up of toxins - not trying to make anyone feel bad or anything, but I found when I controlled my fluid intake (that much harder with an extra day!) and tried to keep the diet reasonable, the less toxins would buid up and/or pressure from too much fluid - which would leave me feeling better. I think, as a general rule, that's why some people feel terrible at the endof their D "weekend" and others feel OK. Even I though had some days when I just knew "I need dialysis !!!"

Anyway isn't it universal to hate Mondays? :)
