I usually reach for a protein bar or a wrap with tuna.
-
chicken, something renal friendly, but I had a protein bar the other day on dialysis because I hadn't eaten anything pre treatment, and the bar helped
-
The above are good choices.

Whatever my mother makes for supper. She likes those nights, cuz she can make whatever she wants, and I won't be picky

I was bad when it came to the sodium part of the diet. I really liked to make Chili Mac Hamburger Helper the night before for dinner, and have the leftovers for after D the next night. I didn't do this all the time, but it sure did hit the spot! Couple of minutes in the microwave, then dinner!
The first time I had D, I was immediatly hungry. After it was done, a friend and I went to a local dive bar and had a steak and fries. That was good, too!

I have a Subway sandwich (no cheese). I'm really lucky that my mom runs in and gets it for me.

at home, we still have some leftover cheetos from halloween so I eat those.
if I do a run at the unit, a burger or fried chicken.
yeah i know, not healthy choices :rofl;

Since I"m usually done at 10 pm at night, I usually just have toast.
There has been times when I get dialysis in the afternoon and ate a sandwich during my last hour of treatment then made a large dinner when I got home..
-
Usually a turkey wrap, but every now and then I treat myself to some Chinese takeout on the way home.
-
We usually go through the drive thru at Tim Horton's on the way home, to get my large ice cap or extra large french vanilla cappuccino, depending on how warm or cold I am that day
