Has anyone in ESRF (pre-Dialysis/Dialysis) experienced
the weather causing changes in their condition etc. (i.e. headaches etc.) ?
Thanks from Kristina.

I haven't felt anything different, and with the weather roller coaster we've had here in Colorado the last 2 weeks I think something would have triggered.

Since kidney failure (just over a year for me) the extreme cold or extreme heat I can not tolerate like I used to, so its lots of layers and more heat in the winter and just the opposite in the summer :)

Headaches caused by weather sounds more like an underlying sinusitis or rhinitis problem.
I had chronic sinusitis even before my kidneys started to fail. And I could always tell what the weather was like outside just from the way my nose felt.

I get a lot of joint pain in the ankles, wrists, and elbows in spring and fall, or if it's excessively damp. I don't tolerate cold very well anyway. I'm sure I was born in the wrong climate. *L*

Thanks very much for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated.
The weather seems to affect people in different ways for different reasons, if at all.
I conclude from this there is nothing particular about the weather affecting people in ESRF.
Thanks again from Kristina. :thx;

Kristina, what is your GFR now???

Hello, Jean, my GFR is at the moment 11%, what is yours ?
My GFR has been fluctuating between 10% and 12% for almost three years.
I do hope you are alright and I send you my kind regards, Kristina.
