I want to report that a few of my side affects of dialysis have gone....
I had a dry scabby scalp..... crusty skin, large patches of dry skin over my whole head...large flakes came off all the time... it was really bad..... that started about a year ago while on dialysis.... in three weeks after transplant its completely gone.... I have NEVER had this before dialysis......
dry elbows.....dry knees... legs... completely gone...
I am not loosing my hair....at all now.... I was loosing hair big time...Iam thinking that it was the heparin use.... My brush is completely clean now...I am hoping to grow some hair back...I lost at lease 50% in the last year..
No itch legs.....
joint and muscle pain gone.... didnt happen all the time....but I have noticed it not happening at all...
I like meat now....and most all food....no food cravings.... I can actually think about what I would like to eat and want to eat it....

I'm still constantly amazed at my energy levels. I thought I was doing pretty well on D at the end - I had lost weight, was exercising more, and had pushed hard for higher pump speeds and the longest possible time. I guess I'd just gotten so used to needing 11 or 12 hours of sleep a day, I didn't think about it anymore!
