Title: Star?!

I have a stupid question and I didn't know where else to post it. I noticed when I logged in today that I have a "star" under my name. I am a total novice to messaging type websites. What does the star mean and how did I get it?           ???
 Like I said, stupid, huh?!

The stars keep adding up as you keep posting.  Check out the same space under everyone's names.

Shucks, thought I had read here some where, 'how the stars are added to/under User names.   :banghead;

Reread the help, did a search with no results, and manually found this post. :Kit n Stik;

So, what is the real story here, how are the Stars acquired?  :secret;     :bow;

Quantity?    ::)

Color?       :P

I wouldn't be surprised if post count is a factor.  Free member or Paid Membership may be another factor.

Being a Moderator or member of Administration may also be an added factor.

Start adding it all up it may have the effect of adding stars and changing colors.

I noticed my stars are NOT gold, but Mods that have been Mods longer, and have higher post counts than I are gold.


I have to admit, I don't know.  Just a wild guess.
