I saw this post on the National Kidney Foundation about a drug trial on Facebook I am just going to copy and paste the exact post...
REMINDER - The Font2 Study is currently recruiting FSGS patients to see whether two new drugs, Humira and Galactose, can lower urine protein levels and help kidneys work better. The study is searching for 126 patients nationwide with FSGS. Patients ages 1-50 who are steroid resistant and have not responded to at least one other medicine for FSGS qualify. If you are interested, or want to learn more, contact Marilyn Hailperin at 866-NEPHCURE x25 or at mhailperin@nephcure.org.
I hope this helps someone!!

Thanks for posting this. I'm waiting to see what progress will take place now that they seem to have found what actually causes FSGS. I wonder if they will start looking to create a drug that reduces the level of suPAR in the blood or if they will focus on better techniques like plasmapheresis.
