I'm not sure of the exact date but I know it was the middle of August when hubby had his first PD treatment in 1997. Since then he has done in center hemo and now nocturnal home hemo. There have been a few bumps along the way but all in all it hasn't been too bad of a journey. We are just thankful that dialysis treatments are available to keep him alive and able to do all of the things he did before kidney failure!! :wine; :thumbup;

This seems to be the day for dialysis anniversaries, and here's hoping for many, many more! Very hopeful news! Gives us all some hope.

I don't think they keep track of the time like we do
When I had the first anniversary of my first kidney, I just happened to be in hospital with my first (but not last) bout of rejection. My dad gave me an anniversary card, and addressed it to me and my "little friend" *L*

:bestwishes; Best wishes for many more years - no doubt having each other has helped get through all you've been through. :cuddle;
