Title: Rashes, skin irritations?

Hi All,

Was curious if anyone else out there is getting a rash or skin irritation from dialysis?  On both my arms, more on my right, I have splotches of red.  They are not itchy, nor do they hurt, but are more of an eye sore.  I've used cortaid cream, acne medication, and hypo-allergenic lotions.  Nothing seems to work.  If anyone has any ideas, or knows exactly what this is, PLEASE let me know.  I don't believe it's hyperpigmentation, or anything like a tumor.  Thanks all!

Well, I went to the doctor today and he thinks it's an infection of some sort, somewhere in my body.  He put me on antibiotics and hopefully it clears up.  Since no one posted I figure this is probably not a symptom of the dialysis?...

I've never had that. If the doc thinks you have an infection, that's probably right.

I'm just thinking that maybe it has something to do  with the intense heat if you are in US. Could be so many things. I hope it clears up soon and never bothers you again! I'd have to say that if it were something more concerning, I'm sure the Dr. would've have folllowed up in detail.
