What else can cause recirculation in a dialysis fistula other then the techs putting the needles too close together? I think I might be recirculating because lately my treaments have felt as if they haven't worked at all. Today I went to the er to get some labs because we only drawl at the center once a month, everything was elivated accept potassium, even magnizium was hi which I don't think we even check! Creat was 15 and I don't know about the others but the bun and every thing else accept a k of 3.9 was really elivated. I also want to increase my time but the only thing I got out of my neph is "we'll watch it" Just for the record I run 2 and a half hours, he keeps cutting back my time because my recent clearence has been above 65 percent, I'm not sure about this coming month though should be interesting.
