We've got to do something about this Zach fellow. He's finding phosphorus in everything! :lol;
Or is it more likely that some manufacturer, such as Kraft foods, got a big tub of sodium phosphate in their inventory they've got to use up? and they think these additives will give their products an edge in flavor and texture?
Generally sodium phosphate is used at a concentration of about 0.5mg/ml (0.05%) as a thickening agent, to give body to a drink or dessert.
