hi Guys
Here's a strange one for you. I keep getting really bad pain in my feet. it comes on over a few hours and lasts 24-48 hours. The pain is really bad and makes me walk funny. Also it feel like I've walked 20+ miles and my feet where they don't hurt (muscular pain) they really ache too. Also when I get this I feel generally crap with vomiting.
Have any of you guys had this and if so what is it? Normally I only get this every few months but I've now had 2 'attacks' in 10 days. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time and if I'm way off here just call me some kind of whoose I deserve it for wasting your time :shy;

Could it be gout?
-
sounds like gout to me.... i thought nuropothy as well, but way more like gout.
-
Was it pain in your big toe? If it was, mostly like gout.
-
Probably gout, talk to your GP, it is really, really painful.
-
The pain from a gout attack used to make me extra nauseous and since the attacks are usually pre-dialysis, nausea was pretty much a constant.

Hi All
For further information the pain is not in my toes but on top of the foot or in the instep. There is no swelling or reddening of the skin. I just wondered if it was connected to my failing kidneys????? Maybe the levels of uric acid too high or something?? Otherwise I got a Neph appointment next week so perhaps I'llmention it to them.
Thanks for the responses
