Hello, everyone!
I wanted to say hello and post a quick update.
Yesterday, I had my fourth graft overall inserted in my right arm. Procedure went smoothly the best I could tell, and happily, with the help of some Vicodin and about 15-20 applications with a frozen gel pack, there is a pretty low level of discomfort.
Especially important to me was the fact that the pre-surgery labs they did with their special machine(checks most important readings without waiting for results from the main lab) were all good, especially potassium(4.5).
On March 26, I hit my two and a half year anniversary on the list at one of my transplant clinics. And, March 16, I had a successful chemical stress test performed for the local transplant clinic I am signed up with.
So, overall, things are going well, and the countdown for the removal of my TCD **HAS** begun!! :2thumbsup;
Jon
