Being on dialysis is like a 1960's horror film.
The most horrible thing they could think of was Dracula, the vampire. Sucking blood of his victims was the epitomy of horror.
Now my blood is sucked three times a week by an electromechanical vampire. And I have the tooth marks in my arm to show for it. And it lasts for four hours a time. :stressed;

Henry, my husband said that being on dialysis made him feel ten years younger! I so understand what you are saying. And when I whined that it took 4 hours out of our lives each day, he said that it actually GAVE him 20 hours of life every day.
Kind of gave me a new perspective. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
So, being on dialysis feels like living instead of dying.
