Ok,
For the last several weeks my bp has been running a bit hi, I'm not on any blood pressure meds as of now. I was even told at my cartiology follow up that it was hi and that my neph needed to adjust my medicine.
I saw my neph today and he's like well because your pre dialysis pressure is a bit hi but your post dialysis blood pressure is normal I'm not doing anything right now. I don't understand why he doesn't just put me on a bit of medicine.
Here's the readings I took at home so let me know what you guys think.
sitting 144 over 87 palse 93
standing 150 over 88 palse 99
sitting 149 over 86 palse 103
standing 147 over 84 palse 104
sitting130 over 95 pals 80

Sulli I don't think you need meds at this point. BP is a bit high but unless it gets worse; don't worry about it at this time.

I think those are actually pretty good. Mine usually run about the same!
My standing BP @ the center when I start is usually around 200!!!!!! But that is because I'm just getting off of work, rushing to the center, and of course, I have this HORRIBLE fear of needles! It's more an anxiety attack until I'm hooked up, then it goes back to around 140.
