Just checked that out. Im betting i order us some of those for 'those' times whre i want a bowl of cerial for dinner and HE needs somethin better... They look GOOD too. Thnks for sharing!!

It says "PRE"- Dialysis Meal Pack. Which is good for pre-dialysis. I'll look closer maybe they have ones for those already on dialysis.
Thank you for finding this. :thumbup;

Here is the Dialysis Friendly page. It looks like the same thing. I may order a few just on the nights that I'm tired and doin't feel like finding something to eat which means I'll find something "bad". These look good. Make sure and read the "key". LS means low sodium.

I talked to the guy who helped design these dinners. He knew the difference between pre-dialysis and dialysis meals. Impressive!
He showed me where to look to get all the diet information. Where it says dialysis meals.... right next to it says nutritional information
click on that.
Zach, I would like to know what you think?

How cool they have that! The past year I think to myself about opening a renal diet little lunch restruant lol because I always see diabetes type meals on menu's. Eve nthough I'm not the patient it's so wierd how I think lol. Consumed just as much as the patient. Thanks for sharing that information.

I say give it a try.
Too expensive for me, though.
I did try a similar service a few years ago. Had that "frozen" taste.
But this might be good.

They do seem a little expensive for "tv" dinners, but I think they look more like what we get at the diner or even restruant and that price is about the same. If it is too expensive to buy all the time it may be nice to get a few for the holiday time and it certainly looks like oe of those bundles would make a great gift for someone. Food ALWAYS makes a great and how thoughtful this would be.

I avoided dialysis for 5 years by following the low-protein diet. And by that, I mean 20 grams or less of PLANT protein per day, supplemented by 10 grams of amino acids (Calwood Nutriionals sells them). I don't think limiting yourself to under 40 grams of protein, including animal protein, will prevent you from going on dialysis for very long. Calwood Nutrionals has a lot of information on Dr. Walzer's approach, and, of course, there's his book. Check out their website for more information if you want to avoid going on dialysis.

Too expensive,too expensive for me, plus I didn't like them.

So far from what I see only one person has actually tried them. Has anyone else tried them?
