I would like to know what others are doing for their skin around their sites.... after you take of the tapes from Dialysis..... I use a preppies by Kendall.... which is a adhesive remover.... works very well .. then I put on antibacterial ointment for a hour to two...then for the rest of the time I have been using witch hazel or Vit E oil.... my skin is really breaking down.... very dry and it hard to get the tapes off... I am not sure what to do or if I should be using something else..... I use plastic tape or I use the silk tape....never paper.... I don't really have a allergic reaction to anything its just my skin is really starting to have some problems.....
what do all of you use......??

Tye...Hubby had this breakdown of skin also and we have been using "Heeltastic" which is really for cracked, dry heels. But it has really worked to help his skin retain some moisture and not dry out so bad. Might be worth a try for you.

I still have a little hair on the arm

Hubby only uses paper tape on his arm. Anything else causes skin irritation. have you tried using paper tape to see if it makes a difference?

I forced the issue with the D center and made them get me sensitive skin tape.
