Title: Cath problem normal?

Hi...update..mom in hospital and had jugular cath put in yesterday. Was taken this morning for first dialysis session ever and cath didn't work.  They said it was most likely due to swelling and it should resolve itself and they will try again tomorrow. If not, they will have to try different size cath?  Any thoughts?
