Notice about Dialysis Facility Tracker from Propublica

For years the government collected data about the performance of individual dialysis facilities, and kept it secret. ProPublica recently made the data public in its Dialysis Facility Tracker. Patients and others can search for their clinic in the Tracker and see how it compares on 15 key measures, ranging from mortality and hospitalization to transplant rates and infection control. Also on our site are historical reports dating to 2002. Visit the Dialysis Facility Tracker: http://projects.propublica.org/dialysis/

Conference Call (Thursday, January 20 at 3pm EST): Find out how to use our Dialysis Facility Tracker for your reporting and work. The call will cover how this data set goes beyond what has previously been made available, and ideas for further reporting using this data. Sign up today, and we'll get you the dial-in info: http://org2.democracyinaction.org/o/6253/p/salsa/web/common/public/signup?signup_page_KEY=3011
