I can't wait to send a thank you to my other hero..my donor becky. My creatnine is now 2.1 incredable!!!! Going to sit up in chair for second time soon

How wonderful! Hope your recovery is short. What a way to start the New Year.
It's a blessing that so many can benefit from a paired donation. My daughter and I are in the first stage of the program.

Wow so quick!! That's fantastic. A real reminder that live donations often go better and smoother than cadaveric (not that I am complaining AT ALL about mine!). Wonderful news.
Re your husband finding it harder - I've often heard that recovery for the live donor is harder than for the recipient. You can sort of understand why - they're actually being a bit more invasive with the donor to get the kidney out of it's fairly well protected area in the back and putting it into a much easier access spot in the front. Hopefully he will be right soon enough though!
SO wonderful than a chain of 10 has gone so well - that's 20+ people's lives changed forever - for the better!!!!
