Hello fellow renal readers,
I'm not going to explane my situation if you care to read about my situaton about my life and living with renal you can read my "BIO" at (www.jamiegmagic.com) there is were my story starts and finish's.
I'm a professional magician living in Ontario. I have been through one kidney transplant and back on hemo dialysis. But I have been living with renal failure most of my life( since childhood) now 32 years of age I feel that most of my good years of life wasted gone a long and lonely road of drakness.
Most of the time growing up I refered my self to a monster and that's how I pretty well grew up in life any ways not really sure how much more I can take living this way of life it is very hard and lonely.......Jamie

I read your BIO. You make children laugh and you entertain adults with your magic. What a gift! Your illness may have been the motivation of your success. Count your blessings~ ;)
I understand what you are feeling though. Sometimes you think... WOW, look what I've accomplished... Just think where I'd be if I felt good and was healthy. But, ya know what? This is our plight. I get up in the morning listening to all the traffic accidents that happened overnight. Perfectly helathy people gone in an instant. You never know when your number is up. Live one day at a time, and keep making people smile.
Welcome to this site. You will love it. People on this site are very honest and blunt. They crack me up!!! ;D ;D

Hello and welcome to the board, sorry for just now welcoming you, I have been a little behind and have been working on several projects. You and I are very close in age. I am 33 years old. I have been on for 12+ years but you can read my bio (If you want) I made this site for people like us to come and have a meeting place for those of us who hate dialysis. Welcome and I look forward to your posts.

Yes, dialysis sucks-- but what's the alternative? I don't know about you, but I ain't ready to go yet! So I keep going to dialysis and watching the chairs empty out one by one, to be replaced with new people. At first I didn't want to get to know any new patients, but eventually I came to the conclusion that life goes on, and being a part of the changes in life is better than sitting there ignoring it and being pissed about everyone else having a 'normal' life.
Like Rerun said, healthy people die in car crashes-- your life can be taken in an instant, why waste whatever time you have feeling sorry for yourself? Do like I do-- be a major pain in the ass and make everyone ELSE feel sorry for themselves! >:D
