My 5th anniversary was yesterday, but i only remembered today. I could have made a big hullabaloo at dialysis yesterday if I had only remembered!!
I am so grateful that i am still alive. I am typing this on my job. So I am grateful that although I lost my job because of my kidney failure, I still have one.
I am so grateful for IHD. As I suppose, many of you are tired of hearing me say I came upon IHD just as I was told that I would have to start dialysis shortly. I was totally traumatised, but as I started to search, I came upon a website where I met a man with a queer name (Epoman) saying that I should visit a website with an equally queer name (I Hate Dialysis). Well, I took him at his word and was unbelievably helped to get through those early days. And here i am still!!
I love you all and thank God for this website and for Epoman's vision. Let's keep his vision alive so that many others can be helped, as I was.
