??? So, I don't really know if this is an emergency or just something I will have to live wiith until my thyroidectomy. I feel as if my whole body is made of glass and can break at any moment. I dread walking anywhere because my legs hurt so much. I slept from 4:30pm yesterday until 8:30am this morning! I just cant take it anymore and I am starting to get super depressed and thats a reason why I have been sleeping so much I bet. I just want to get this over with, or have myself checked out or SOMETHING. all of this hurry up and wait stuff is driving me crazy, literally!

Im sorry ur feeling like this, I feel like that alot of the time too, especially when i was on HD, not as much now that im on PD, im still very weak, and sleepy, but also very anemic. Perhaps u are anemic + depression + thyroid and all the other wonderful things we deal with just need sleep to recoop.... Call ur dr or nurse and tell him ur concerns. Hopefully they dont give u the same answers they give me... Its just part of Dialysis....

What she said ^^^. when you feel a change. your body is trying to tell you something. put your mind to it. when did it start? and go from there. also see if things at your center need adjusting. i'm still new and don't really know all that much.. but i know about depletion for sure. hang in there hon. :cuddle;

Doesn't sound normal. I think definitely needs to be checked out. ERworthy? I don't know - that's a personal call I guess.
How are you doing now? has anything happened?

If you are thinking about going, maybe you should.

Have you been prescribed anti-depression medication? If not maybe a low dose would be helpful. I'm thinking with all the issues your body is dealing with it just needs rest. Hopefully your surgery is scheduled soon. My suggestion would be talk with the dialysis nurses or your Dr. and tell them how you feel. What you are experiencing isn't an emergency, it has been slowly building up over a course of time. I wish the best for you!

Call your doctor and see what they say. ER may put your mind at ease. Take a book!
