Title: diarrhea
Post by: dtandukar on July 28, 2010, 06:11:02 PM
hello,

My father often gets diarrhea and no medicine works perfect for him... every hour he has to go to toilet... anybody any idea, any experience?

Best regards,
Deependra

It could be either too much fluid, or one of his meds is doing it.

I am thinking the same thing as sulli. Are your dad's feet or legs swollen? Does he have problems with edema? Kidney failure, Congestive Heart Failure, Cirrhosis, and many, many more reasons can cause fluid build up. It is common with kidney disease though. And yes meds. Often you can look up the medication he is taking on the computer to see if there are any side effects like this. Let the doctor know everything. Please let us know how  he is doing.

he is in dialysis. doctors change medicine all the time and doesn't work. Will check for the side effects of his medicines tonight.
