:rant;(setting on HIGH)
The center that I go to was bought by Renal Advantage Incorporated.
The weekly practice of checking veinous and arterial pressures was discontinued.
Notices were given out last Wednesday that they would no longer provide Lidocaine.
I only go on Mondays and Fridays, so I missed the letter. I found out on Friday as I sat down. The tech that day always joked that there was no lidocaine before. I didn't believe her until she brought me a copy.
There is a nerve that runs through my fistula region and when they put the needles in, they heard me on the other side of the center.
I had to pay the cost for the RX I got for Ethyl Chloride. It's not covered by my insurance.
(end RANT)

Yikes!!!!! Is there another center you can go to?

Your only recourse is to go to another center and tell them why you are leaving. What if they decided to reuse needles? Are you just supposed to accept thatcrap? NO! It is time to put your foot down now.
