The information is very important to both doctors and the patients, as dialysis is done in order to let kidney work for some more time and when the side effects are ignored or not taken into account then it can create more complications. These complications can be avoided by instant treatment of the after effects of dialysis.

A decrease in muscle mass (atrophy) is a problem with many people on dialysis.
Eating the proper amount of protein that is of high biological value is part of the solution.

Even a person who is overweight and on dialysis can have muscle wasting and not realize it until the damage is so bad that they cannot move around.

Remember: the heart is a muscle, too.

when in hospital,they give me cooked carrots at lunch & dinner. Also some kind of hot broth.
