Hey all!!
Hi :flower;
I have been on dialysis for about 5 months can anyone give me any insight into anything I can look forward too?? the other day I was in the hospital because I was completely out of it, my dad said I had no idea who he or anyone was or where I was, I was vomiting and shaking and I really don't remember any of it. I know everyone experiences difference things but I want to know if there is any universal things. I've experienced the cramping, low blood pressure, vomiting, tingling, light headed feelings. I am on Renagel, Topomax, Nexium and a multivitamin. I am trying to watch my fluid intake and keep protein high phosphorous low but I still have pretty bad days.

One big milestone is coming to understand fluid enough that you take charge of your treatment. You say in your intro post that your doctor likes you all "bone dry", fine, let him hook his own damn self up to a machine and suck the life out of himself! He (she) may be your doctor but it is your body and your life.
Everything you mention (except tingling as far as I know) has its roots in having too much fluid taken off. If you feel bad after dialysis with symptoms like those you mention, tell them what weight you would like to come off at and make it 0.5 kg higher than the previous treatment. You mentioned something about a seizure - that too can be triggered by a sudden drop in blood pressure from perhaps having too much fluid removed or simply from one's vasculature being sluggish in reacting to the change in fluid volume.
I hope things get better and better and the bad days become fewer and fewer.
