Ive got strange symptoms , my hands and fingers feel strange , like gripping a pen and writing is hard work and walking about is like walking through tar. Im also getting quite a few cramps , from hands, feet ,right through to ribs, in fact turn or twist to quickly and i get them . NOW before you go through all the usual suggestions i am NOT ..dehydrated , fluid overloaded , blood work is all good , in fact nothing obvious blood work wise. One nurse said to me its usually a sign something is not right with your blood ..possibly low salt? But all my results are ok and im always good with salt , even before D.

I would see your Primary Physician, so often we all assume any symptoms we get are related to kidney disease, and sometimes it is something entirely different. Go get checked out!

Sounds awful :(
Are you on HD or PD?

I would thing too high of Potassium, but if you haven't eaten any high potassium foods then I'm not sure.

I vote potassum, but I'm sure that would have been on your blood work.
:cuddle; It's no fun feeling miserable, I hope it's something that can be fixed easily.

KS keep us informed, you are not over doing the move are you? Doing too much?

Mum had similar symptoms....
It was thought her potassium was too low.... It was at the low end of normal... The docs suggested stopping the double-boiling of potatoes, and the symptoms stopped...
Mum doesn't eat potatoes every day, though.... About twice or three times a week....
Hope it gets sorted out very soon!....
Love...

This is a bit of a mystery! Are you going to see your doctor about it?

I think you may have a complaint that I have suffered with - carpel tunnel syndrome. Apparently it is quite common in dialysis patients. It is caused by a build up of calcium in the wrists. My doctor first prescribed a brace to push down on the vein to allow greater flow. It was only m,moderately successful so I had a simple day procedure to open up one of the veins. Been OK since the operation.
