Hello,
I take a handful of pills everday to keep me alive, somedays I feell really crappy and other days just crappy, and during these days I see them, out of the corner of my eye, little creepy hands that move things, shimmer objects, and make things dissappear, I've been on PD for 13 months and these little anoyaces seem to be getting worse, I live alone and I dont want to start yelling at nothing, I hope someone out there can relate or am I just going MAD.......wolfken

I don't know what kind of meds you are on, Wolfken, but if it was me I would be calling my Dr. I take a handful of meds twice a day, but I don't see little hands. I do however have lots of dreams. Get yourself to the Dr.

I am taking these medications. lyrica 50 mg, pramipexole .25mg, blood thinners, high blood pressure meds, diabetes med., water pills, calicium, iron.
My doctor knows I have been having hallucinations, he just's tell me its the side effects

That's a bit scary, wolfken. I think I'd get a second medical opinion.

I'd definitely get a second opinion...vivid dreams yeah, hallucinations that's new to me.

I would also try to see an ophthalmologist. Might have something to do with diabetes? I believe these are "floaters".

He's probably right.
Hallucinations are a known side effect of pramipexole.
And visual disturbances are a known side effect of Lyrica.
If you're still having itching problems, you really should try UV-B light treatments. That's safer than taking pramipexole.

Thank you for the feed back, I will seek other options, one question ? What are floaters, I am very greatful for you folks, for months I thought I was alone....wolfken

Floaters are little dots or squiggly lines that enter your field of vision. They can be brought on by medications as others have suggested or eye injuries. There are many causes,( I'm just saying what experiences I've had.By no means am I an expert).

When I was on high doses of Catapres, high blood pressure med, I had very real nightmares at night. I would wake up not knowing if what I had experienced was real and I was awake or if I was sleeping and dreaming. The nightmares crossed over into my waking moments just after waking up from nightmares. These hallucinations were very real to me. Thankfully, it did not happen when I was completely awake during the day. So, check you HBP meds too.

Thanks Sunny, It makes me feel I'm not going Crazy..lol, I just have to add it to the many
side effects of this disease, but today I found out the cause of my many bouts with peritonitis, a worn and loose catheter, hopefully people don't have to go through this.
tired and worn...Wolfken

Catheters are so prone to being the cause of infection. Hope things clear up for you.
