Title: I'm getting a transplant!

I got teh best April present every. I found out yesterday that my mom and I are approved for transplant! We have it scheduled on the 28th of this month, so only a few more weeks of dialysis. I just have some last minute testing to get through and some pre-opt appointments and then recovery  :yahoo; :yahoo; :yahoo;

There seems to be a spate of such good news on IHD these days!  This is just so wonderful.  Oh, I am so very happy for you.

How exciting this must be for you Topaz.

I am glad to hear such good news has come your way.  This has been a good April for a few members.  May the trend continue onward.

I'm so happy for you! My cousin has been approved too and we're going to figure out the date this week- probably in June or July!
