Title: Surgery Complications
Post by: FindingNeverland on April 01, 2010, 05:36:40 PM
I went in to have my fistula done Monday, anethesia actually put me out instead of sedating me and doing a nerve block, I've been having trouble with adema so when they went to wake me up I had to be respirated because all the fluid went to my lungs. The surgery itself went great and the fistula looks and sounds great from what my doctor has informed me. I'm just glad to be home.

Glad that the surgery itself was successful.

Sounds like a scary event, but I'm glad your home now. Hope things heal nicely for you.

Isn't it nice to have the surgery behind you?  I wonder why they chose not to go the nerve block route?  Anyway, I'm glad you're safely back home!

Glad you are OK. I would prefer to be knocked out anyway... :)
