This posting is from Liiving Donors Online (LDO):

"Kidney Documentary in TORONTO, ONTARIO"

Some of you may remember the story of Mike Fogelman and Jenny Oad. Kidney transplant in June 2004. Mike and Jenny became the 1st transplant in Canada through LDO.

An independent film maker is in the process of making a documentary about the transplant to be submitted to the International Health Festival in Greece later this year.

We cannot finish the film without the help of someone in TORONTO or the GTA who is currently on peritoneal dialysis (home dialysis). Since Mike is no longer on dialysis we need a generous person to open there home so the camera can film for a purely educational purpose. It would require you (although you do not have to appear in the film) to show the director the machine, bags, hoses, supplies, garbage, turn the machine on etc. Perhaps you would be kind enough to share your experiences, although again you do not have to appear on film. You would have control and do not have to do anything you are not comfortable with.

Time is of the essence and we need the help of a brave and giving person ASAP. If you are interested or know someone who may be able to help again in the TORONTO region, pls email

Thank you.
