So I have a chest catheter, that usually runs very well, but recently has been acting up. The last time it did we ended up stopping treatment early and putting in TPA into it. When I got home the next day I had really violent spasms where I could see the tunneled tube moving a half an inch in either direction. When i told my doctors and nurses about it they didn't believe me that it was the TPA that was causing it. Today again I had issues and we put in the TPA so that it hopefully runs well Monday. And about an hour ago it started spasming again (not as violently at first, but getting worse now). So my question is has anyone else had anything similar happen to them? Could it really be the TPA, or do you thing that something else is going on?
Thanks!
Jes
