Title: Numbness in left arm
Post by: Quickfeet on December 30, 2009, 04:09:07 AM
About two months ago I had a fistula made in my upper left arm. After about a week it clotted and my blood flow returned to normal. Since I plan to do pd the Doctor decided not to repair the fistula. Today my left arm (mostly my hand) is feeling slightly numb. I'm wondering if maybe the clot broke loose and is blocking some of my blood flow. Does any one have any advice? I don't want to waste money for tests if this is just one of those things we have to live with. Should I wait and see if it gets worse or is this an emergency?

Call your doctor or go to the ER - this is not something you want to mess around with....

My arm is better.  :bandance; so I've decided to wait till my neph apt this month. My hand still tingles a little.   :thumbdown;
Thank you maglaw64 for your input.
