Well, PD is going good so I got my second permacath removed today. Got home and got the mail only to get a letter from the hospital saying I need to come in for some additional tests because the mammogram last week shows something. I had a feeling something would show up. So close to getting on "the list" and now this. Thanks for listening.

:cuddle;
Hope it's nothing serious.

Hope it works out well for you, Cloud...
I had a 'suspicious' lump... When I had the Mammogram, I was called back for 'Further Follow-Up'... Like yourself, I was VERY concerned... Thankfully a biopsy showed it was an infected cyst... A month of antibiotics cleared it up!...
God bless...

Hey Cloud. Remember the beauty of technology today...early detection = higher success rate of treatment. And like Darth said, it could be lots of things that really aren't too serious or it could be nothing at all. I have had a mamogram that needed further follow up and it turned out to be nothing. (other than maybe an income generating tool for the clinic ;D ). But I was glad to hear it was nothing! So keep us posted and we'll be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Not sure what stage you're at, but I had a screening mammogram, then was called back for a diagnostic mammogram. My doctor said not to worry. After the diagnostic mammogram I've been scheduled for an ultrasound. But my doctor, who is brutally honest because I'm the kind of patient that does not like sugarcoating is assuring me that it's likely nothing, and that well over 90 percent of ultrasounds show no problems.
THey're just being extra careful. Try not to worry too much.

That is bound to upset you Cloud, but the posters before me are probably correct. And we will pray that they are, so you stay on the list.
-
Good luck - thinking of you.

Hang in there. The waiting and unknown is the hardest part. 90% of "found something" are really nothing so keep that in mind.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I go December 30th for the followup (my wedding anniversary) so nothing bad can happen on that date right? :pray;
