:thx; You guys have helped enjoy going to dialysis by being able to come here, while at dialsis, and learn thing and get know you all. It sure has helped pass the time and keep me from being a "clock watcher". The time just seems to fly by now. :yahoo;

There were several clock in my unit when I did haemo (cruel I reckon) and I used to play a silly game in my head where I would try not to look at it untill at least an hour had passed ... I always failed miserably in the 5th hour, and would look at the clock only to discover 5 minutes had passed - not 60! Anyone else do stuff like that?

All the time. As we from the theory of reliatvity, time passes slowler while on dialysis. :bandance; :bandance;

And older threads are terrific too.

After fighting with the staff yesterday, the session seemed to go on forever.

Hi fc, glad there is something to help make the time go by! And glad you are here with this merry group :cuddle;

Good Attitude, FC, hope it continues to get easier for you.

It is good reading all the past post's , my husband said sitting for four hours was a nightmare, he even took to reading my love books, that's how bad it was. Why don't you start a ditty post! Take pad and pen and write some funny ditties down, or think of some stupid rhyming poetry. Any thing to pass the time.

You can also listen to books on tape on an MP3 player. We get courses from the Teaching Company, too. The challenge is to have a variety of things to do so you don't get into a rut! :2thumbsup;

Ah yes, the Teaching Company, my old friends.
I also read, watch TV, and do other things on the internet. But, coming to IHD seems to make the time pass even faster. Of course I come here when I am not on dialysis too, like now.
