Title: expectations and reassurances re stem cell benefits
Post by: Everlasting on November 23, 2009, 10:05:45 AM
We have participated in a conference call with stem cell clinic personnel in Texas and have been informed that Victor can expect his kidney function rate of 20% to climb to 50%.  In addition to the function of kidneys he will also undergo therapy for post stroke symptoms.  Both will be given for the one standard price.
We are scheduled to arrive in Texas on 1 March 2009 and both will receive the therapy -- mine include issues that are neurological in nature.  It is my hope that I will once again be on my feet and out of a wheelchair.

If you are wondering how they do it ---- the physician makes a small incision (1 in.) and inserts stem cells together with tissue and closes the filled hole with one dissolvable suture.  In Victor's case there will be two incisions in the area of the kidneys, two at the temporal areas and one at the back of his head where the spinal cord and skull meet.

And again I say, caveat emptor.

Thanks Zach for bringing  me back to earth !!!  Heard of this on another board and thought WOW, this was being done in Texas,USA !!!  Forgot to tell myself, "If it should to good, etc.etc"

The sad thing that is bringing false hope to those that are in desperate need of real and factual treatments.

Thanks again, for making me think with my head instead of my heart.
