I saw the Neph on Thursday and left smiling. My bloods and chemistry showed distinct improvement. My calcium and phosphate, which were both out of wack, are now back within normal limits. And the other one of the BIG 3, potassium has remained within normal limits.
My urea which was at 39.3 has dropped to 18.1 after D, and 21.0 before.
Creatinnie from 896 to 573 after D, and 689 before.
GFR from 5 to 9 after D, and 7 before.
Orright for three weeks, I reckon!!

Good on you Galvo. Always good to have your levels level!
-
Ta, Hanify. Yep. I love those level levels!
-
That's great news!! Do you feel better?
-
Yes, thanks. Am actually feeling pretty good.
-
Thats great to hear galvo. It's hard to keep your labs in the "normal" range but it is managable.
I've always had trouble keeping my labs in control. Mainly because I didn't care, well until about a year ago. I took control of my life and started doing what I should of been doing this 13 yrs of dialysis life. Now, I think I've got the hang of it....most days. ;)
About 2 weeks ago I saw my dietician and she gave me my recent labs. She told me I must really want a transplant because my labs have been "perfect" since June.
Well darnit, I tell ya....She's RIGHT!!!
Hope you continue to feel better.
