I will get a larger needle AND 15 mins taken off my on time. Feels like I got a good gift!   :bandance;

Do we all use the same color system everywhere?

I am traveling to Arizona for Thanksgiving and will be at a davita that Friday. I have never been anywhere other than my unit. I'm scurred  :'(

Yay PDPatty!  I am jealous...I got larger needles and a 1/2 hour added!  Best of luck!  Enjoy those extra 15 minutes of whatever!

CyberR....I have been to 5 different units, including several Davita units, and the needle colors have been the same, think that is what you are asking?  I used to have green ones, now I have blue ones, think they are 15GG.
Someone else will need to correct me if I am wrong...let me know.  Good luck with your travels!

I was using the blue needles before. Not I'm on the catheter again though. I am mostly afraid because of all the looks I got when I went to my center for the first time. I am a very healthy looking young guy so I get a lot of stares :(

I had Kenny,the tech that my doctor listens to. He used the biggest needles,14,and set the machine at 450 and everything went perfect. The only sound was the slight beep when my bp dropped to low.

Getting off 15 earlier is great. My fat butt thanks the dr. and Kenny.

Now ,depending on my blood work ,I just may be able to go to 3 hours. :2thumbsup;
